Can we be honest for a second?

You've heard the horror stories- a sneeze in the wrong place, a run that ended prematurely. Someone's nan mentioning Tena ladies like it's inevitable- like who decided women's pelvic floors just stop working after birth, or further down the line, and that that's normal?! No. Thank. You.
Somewhere in the back of your mind, you're wondering: is that going to be me?

Meanwhile, you look down at this body — this incredible, exhausted, but also unfamiliar body — and you barely recognise it.
Where did your strength go?
Why does carrying the shopping feel like a sport?
You used to go climbing. Running. Long walks that didn't require military-level logistics.

"This isn't the body I remember. But maybe... it doesn't have to be this way."

You're right. It doesn't. And you don't have to figure it out alone!
We've all been there, going to the toilet and feeling like your entire insides are about to follow

You've Tried The Groups
Baby groups are lovely.
But they're a LOT.

You walk in and your nervous system clocks it immediately: the noise, the brightness of the fluorescent lights. Babies crying. Music playing. Someone doing a craft activity in the corner. Your brain, already running on broken sleep and sheer willpower, goes straight into high alert.

You smile, you make small talk, you track where your baby is, you answer "how old is she?" fourteen times. You leave more depleted than when you arrived — and you can't quite put your finger on why.

It's because your brain never got to downshift. You were on guard the entire time.

Something many mums don't realise until it's too late

This class is designed to be the opposite of overwhelming.
The pace is gentle.
The environment is calm.
There's no performance, no pressure, no playlist that makes your eye twitch. Just a room where your brain finally gets permission to come down from high alert — where you go from on-guard to something that feels a lot more like safe.

Your baby is welcome, absolutely. But you're the main character here.

I'm Amy. I'm not a medical professional with a clipboard and a one-size-fits-all leaflet. I'm a fellow mum with proper training, an honest perspective, and zero agenda other than helping you feel good. I struggled through postpartum, wanting to go back to the gym, find my strength and lose the baby weight. The last one didn't really happen, but through yoga, I found a new way of finding peace with myself, my kids often by my side.
I avoided other groups, often found myself feeling more lonely than before, my heart racing- but never pinning down the reason.

I'm devoted to supporting you in a way that serves you, not by telling you what you should or shouldn't be doing.

Here's what the women who come
actually say happens...

-
They sneeze without anxiety again. (Enough said.)
-
They leave class feeling calmer than when they arrived — not just from the movement, but because their body was able to relax
-
They go back to climbing, running, long walks — on their own timeline
-
They find their people. The ones who don't just ask about the baby, but ask how you're doing. And mean it.
-
They feel grateful — genuinely grateful — for their body. For everything it's done. For everything it's still doing
A room full of women who
will not let you be hard on yourself.

The women in this class become your people. They share how they really are — not just the Instagram version. They swap the recommendations that actually work. They tell you, with complete sincerity, that you are doing an incredible job and that you are everything your baby needs.

No competitive tiredness. No parenting one-upmanship. Just warmth, honesty, and a shared appreciation for the fact that you all turned up, baby in tow, to do something for yourselves, and you're all trying your goddamned best.
Your Body, Reframed
It fed your baby. It carried your baby.
It is your baby's safe place.
This body you're feeling so disconnected from? It has done something extraordinary. It's still doing something extraordinary. And it deserves more than frustration — it deserves understanding, movement, care, and a little bit of credit.
Mum & Baby Yoga is where you come to meet this new version of yourself. Not to fight it, or rush it back to what it was — but to work with it. To get strong again. To feel at home in it again.
