How is pregnancy yoga different to normal yoga?Firstly, Pregnancy yoga is led by a teacher who specializes in pregnancy and birth. All poses are modified and adapted for a pregnant body, respecting the many changes that can happen. Each class is tailored to whoever is in attendance. In our classes, we include many different elements to help expectant mothers, with useful tools, facts, and tips for pregnancy and birth.

When can I start pregnancy yoga?We suggest beginning pregnancy yoga from around 15 weeks. If you feel you'd like to start pregnancy yoga before this time, please contact us.

When should I arrive to class?Preferably 10mins prior to the class start time. This allows you to settle in, fill in any forms, grab a drink, go to the loo, whatever you need. It will enable you to get the full benefits of the class too!

I've never done yoga before, can I still do pregnancy yoga?Yes! The beauty of pregnancy yoga is its accessibility. Anyone, at any level, can join us. Yoga is a way of life, not just exercise.

What do I wear for pregnancy yoga classes?Something comfortable. You do not need fancy 'yoga clothes', just something that you can move easily in.

Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy?It is safe to continue to exercise through pregnancy however, you may find things change throughout. Pregnancy yoga is great from 15 weeks and can be adapted right the way through pregnancy.

What do I need to bring to pregnancy yoga classes?Yourself, some water, and possibly a snack. I can provide mats, blocks, and blankets but if you'd like to bring your own, you're more than welcome to!

How do your Antenatal classes work?We designed our classes to be flexible so that you can attend the classes that best suit you. The full course is taught over 6 weeks on a rolling basis and you can book for the full 6 weeks or certain classes. This makes the classes perfect for those expecting their baby, adopting, or fostering. Each class is tailored to specific topics, see more in the class description.

Should my partner come to classes with me?Yes, If possible, your birth partner should attend classes with you. This enables them to be prepared for birth too and how they can help you. Our classes are full of birth partner tips!

When should I go to Antenatal Education classes?It is recommended to attend Antenatal classes from around 24 weeks. This should give you plenty of time to attend the full course (or whichever classes you choose) and to use this information to inform your birth wishes.

What topics do you cover in your Antenatal classes?We offer a comprehensive course that includes: birth anatomy, types of birth, places to give birth, inductions, caesareans, pain relief- natural and medical, birth positions, birth partner tips, immediately after birth, postpartum health and wellness for mum and caring for a newborn baby. There is a mix of evidence- based information, practical activities, and time to discuss and ask any questions.

Do I need to bring anything to Antenatal classes?You don't need to bring anything in particular. Drinks and snacks are provided (if you have any dietary requirements, please get in touch). It is recommended for the movement class for you - and your birth partner!- to wear something comfortable and easy to move in.

Do I need to go to Antenatal classes?In short, no, you don't have to go to antenatal classes. They are beneficial to get educated, empowered, and confident about birth and beyond.

Who can bring baby to Baby Massage classes?Baby Massage classes are beneficial for anyone who cares for your baby to help support bonding. Mums, dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles are all welcome!

When can I attend Baby Massage classes?It is recommended to start Baby Massage from 6 weeks, up until when your baby is on the move.

What do I need to bring to Baby Massage classes?Please bring some water for yourself and a blanket for your baby. Babies are calmer when they can smell home, or you., bringing a sense of safety and security. Wear something comfortable for yourself as we run sessions on the floor on yoga mats.

What is Women's Yoga?Women's yoga is a class that brings connection, healing, movement, and mindfulness together. Movements are based on women's health, working the deep core and pelvic floor. We also practice meditation, visualizations, and a wonderful yoga nidra for deep relaxation.

What do I need to bring to a Women's yoga class?All you need to bring is some water, possibly a snack and yourself. I provide a limited number of mats, blocks and blankets but feel free to bring your own!

Who is the 3- Step Trauma Awareness for?Anyone can request this process.

What is the 3- Step Trauma Awareness?The 3- Step Trauma Awareness is based in NLP and works to unhook any unwanted feelings and responses to past experiences, traumatic experiences, phobias and fears.

I had twins, can I still attend Postnatal Yoga?Of course! We can help adapt class depending on your and your babies needs. It may also be a great idea to bring a friend or relative with you so you and your babies can still enjoy and benefit from class but you have that extra helping hand!

What if my baby cries or needs to be held all the way through class?Then you are doing great! You will be attending to your baby's needs first and foremost. You can still benefit from the class by using meditation and there is still other poses that you can do with your baby in your arms. We can help adapt this for you. I am also there to give extra cuddles if you just want to be hands-free for a bit.

What is Postnatal Mum & Baby Yoga?Our postnatal class is specially designed for newly postnatal mums and their babies. Your body has been through a huge transformation and requires help and support to heal. Classes are designed to be a space where this healing can happen, building your deep core and pelvic floor strength safely. We also include baby massage and baby yoga moves to help in your baby's development.

Teachers are specialized in postnatal recovery and have a deep understanding of what your body may have gone through. Classes are tailored to those in attendance and have many different types of practices to help your recovery that you can implement in everyday life.

When can I attend Postnatal Yoga classes?Ideally 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8 weeks after a caesarean birth. It is important to get your doctor or midwife's approval to begin more exercise.

What do I need to bring for Postnatal Yoga?Bring a snack and some water for yourself. A blanket for your baby is also recommended- them smell of home can bring a sense of safety and security to baby.
