Service Description
This is for you IF: - You want your birth partner to know HOW to support you and not be the stuck to their phone - You want to work out how to communicate effectively and not get irritated by the wrong question at the wrong time - You want practical tools you can call on when you need them most This is NOT for you if: - You think birth support is holding a hand and occasionally saying "you're doing great" from across the room - You get uncomfortable practicing hands on techniques, no judgement here - You're comfortable enough saying "just breathe" without actually knowing what that means What to expect in this workshop In just 3 hours you can expect to practice tools, like using a rebozo or shawl and how effective they can be during labour, massage to ease discomfort and learn how to communicate effectively as a couple. We will meet at Oakwood Community Centre in the Oak Room, Saturday 6th June 10-1 Refreshments will be available Please bring a rebozo or shawl, wear comfortable clothes. Perfect from 30 weeks onwards so it's fresh in your mind but also allowing time to practice at home. Investment is £120 per couple
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
All classes are available to cancel up to 12 hours before the class start time. After this window, please get in touch to speak with a member of staff about cancelling. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. If Amy cancels a class, you will be credited a class to your pack, refunded or given the option to move your single class to another session. Birth Partner Workshops and Birth + Beyond courses are non-refundable when cancelled within 24hours of the workshop/course start time. Cancellation before this time will be refunded in total. If Amy has to cancel the workshop/ session, another time will be arranged. If it is not possible for all couples within a group to agree to alternative date/s, then provision will be made for individual couples
