- 3- Step Trauma Release
Whether you have a phobia have had a traumatic experience, like birth trauma, or even feel a sense of fear for the rest of your pregnancy and upcoming birth, you may have feelings that no longer serve you in your day-to-day life. These unwanted responses may be (but not limited to): • Anxiety • Feelings of guilt, shame or failure • Physical symptoms, like stomach upsets, shaking, increased heart rate • Flashbacks • Intrusive thoughts • Hypervigilance • Trouble sleeping • Unable to talk about the event without feeling overwhelmed This is your invitation to release yourself from these responses. The 3-Step Trauma Release sessions work to unhook these responses from the experience without losing any of the wisdom you have gained. What does the process involve? Just 3x 45-minute sessions are all it takes to bring back a sense of lightness and calm to your life. Session 1: You may choose to share the experience you are working with or you may not, your choice. The process will still work just as effectively. Then, I will take you through a guided relaxation to help settle your nervous system, bringing you into a deep sense of relaxation. You will receive a recording of the relaxation for you to use between sessions 1 and 2 and whenever you need in the future. Session 2: We will start with a check-in, to see how you are getting on. Session 2 will be the session where all the juicy re-encoding of the experience happens. Your brain will change how it stores away the experience in your memory, releasing these unwanted emotions. You will still remember what happened but be able to move on with peace and with all you learned from the experience. Session 3: This is the final session, a short, guided relaxation where you envision your future self without any of the unwanted responses to the experience. You will also receive a recording of this session for any time in the future. Are you ready to heal? When you feel ready to bring peace and healing to your body, please get in touch to start your journey. Sessions are held online or at your home (if you are local to Derby). Important: It is important to point out that this is NOT therapy and I am not a therapist. This process is a very clever guided relaxation, working on re-coding your experience.
